Public
Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Rustam Singh awarded private and
government doctors who made significant contributions in the execution of
Prime Minister Safe Maternity Campaign. He said that only Madhya Pradesh has
achieved remarkable success in the country with the participation of doctors
of private sector along with the Health Department.
It is
noteworthy that recently the Central Government has awarded Madhya Pradesh
for its reach to the highest number of pregnant women and the highest number
of service providers and highest decline in percent in maternal mortality
rate in the Prime Minister Safe Maternity Campaign. Madhya Pradesh was
awarded by the Union Health Minister in New Delhi for decline by 48 numbers
in maternal mortality rate in Madhya Pradesh in sample registration survey
conducted by the Central Government and expansion of diagnostic and
treatment services before delivery with the help of private sector doctors
under the Prime Minister Safe Maternity Campaign.
Health
Minister feted Narmadapuram Divisional Commissioner Shri Umakant Umrao for
receiving national award, Dr. Kiran Shejwar, Dr. Madhuri Chandra, Dr. Alka
Agrawal, Dr. Sangeeta Shrivastava, Dr. Nidhi Vyas, and Dr. Sharda Mishra for
noteworthy contribution in different districts in Vananchal Seva Samiti by
presenting shawl, memento and certificate.
On the
occasion, a film 'Hiranyagarbha', based on the work being done for pregnant
women with complex delivery was displayed by Shri Umakant Umarao. 'Hiranyagarbha'
team extends help in safe delivery by reaching pregnant women in Hoshangabad
district. Free camps are held on the ninth of every month in government
hospital for health check-up of pregnant women under prime minister safe
maternity campaign. Doctors of private sectors are also participating in it
with team of Health Department, which has resulted in decline in maternal
mortality rate. Shri Singh awarded Dr. Sunita Malani for rendering services
for continuous 12 months in Agar-Malwa district hospital and Dr. Aditi
Rathore for rendering services for continuous 11 months in community health
centre of Ratlam district for voluntary services under the campaign in the
year 2017-18. This award was given to Dr. Mahendra Singh of Satna district
hospital and Dr. Indrani Sengupta of community health centre, Amdara (Satna)
in government sector category.
The award
was given to Jabalpur (private sector) and Raisen (government sector) for
the best performing district and identifying the highest number of complex
pregnancy. The awards were given to Dr. Jaiswal of Bhopal chapter, Dr. Mukta
Jain of Indore, Dr. Kusumlata Singhal of Gwalior, Dr. Manju Rathi of Ujjain,
Dr. Nisha Sahu of Jabalpur, Dr. Dally Mehra of Ratlam, Dr. Neeta Gidyan of
Sagar, Dr. Sangita Prasad of Singarauli, Dr. Sunita Pandey of Hoshangabad,
Dr. Shailesh Lunawat of Indian Radiological and imaging association, Dr.
Rajiv Gupta of Indian Medical Association, Dr. Satyaprakash Dubey of Private
Medical Practitioner Association, Dr. Umesh Sharda of Nursing Home
Association, Dr. Suresh Kumar of Pathology Association, Shri Kamal Bhandari
of Lions Club, Association of Private Dental College and Dr. Jyoti Valecha
of Medical Colleges of MP in medical organisations.
Awards
were given to Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior medical colleges for continuous
help in maternal health. The best gynecologist in private sector was given
to Dr. Meena Namdeo Panna, Dr. Deepak Kumar Gupta Raisen and Dr. Neena
Gediyan Sagar. Dr. Pramila Rathore of Mandsaur, Dr. Laxmi Dudve of Khandwa,
Dr. R Kushram of Seoni received the award in government sector. For the best
anesthesia specialist, Dr. Santosh Rajauria of Sagar, Dr. Sunil Sthapak of
Shahdol, Dr. Vineet Pateria of Chhatarpur in government category and Dr. SN
Soni of Seoni, Dr. Dimpal of Ujjain and Dr. R Maheshwari of Hoshangabad in
private sector were was awarded. Dr. Hemraj Bokade, Saunsar (Chhindwara),
Dr. KD Mandloi, Petlawad (Jhabua) and Dr. BT Chaturvedi, Pichhor (Shivpuri)
were awarded in the sub district level group.
Team of
Ratlam and Shahdol were awarded for Roshni Clinic for providing excellent
services to women of all age groups including pregnant women. Dr. Shashikala
Nipane Umaria, Dr. Vaishali Nigam, Dewas, Dr. Vikas Sharma, Morena are
included in the award recipients for best care of newborn babies. Team of
community health centre, Saunsar (Chhindwara), community health centre,
Jaora (Ratlam), civil Hospital, Maihar (Satna) are included for excellent
work in blood collection. Team of Community Health Center Devendra Nagar (Panna),
Community Health Center Parasia (Chhindwara) and Community Health Center,
Patera (Damoh) were rewarded for facility expansion. |
