Orders have been issued to withhold the
annual increment of all the District Programme Managers in the state for
failure to send correct and verified information about implementation of
health schemes and programmes.
It has been witnessed
during the review of health services and programmes that on most the
occasion the figures about the number of beneficiaries and facts about
implementation of programmes at the field level are not correct. This has
put a question mark on the correct assessment as well. At the district
level, District Programme Managers are accountable for this. Taking this
shortcoming seriously, Commissioner Health Shri Manohar Agnani has
instructed the Chief Medical and Health Officers to defer the 20 per cent
annual increment of all the 50 District Programme Managers with immediate
effects till further orders. |
